Dr. Wendy Banta-Long, DVM

Dr. Banta-Long grew up in northwest Indiana in a small midwestern town called Porter. After attending Denison University for her Bachelor’s degree, she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!). Dr. Banta-Long then moved to Washington state for a year-long exotic specialty internship at the Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine. Following this internship, she has moved down to sunny Arizona to join the team at AZEAH. She has a particular interest in surgery and pain management.
Other interests include reading (particularly enjoys Stephen King!), hiking/backpack camping, exploring restaurants and cooking. Dr. Banta-Long lives with her dog (Tigger), crested gecko (Steve) and three African Dwarf frogs (currently unnamed).
