Kayla was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Tucson with her family when she was 14. She attended Pima Community College where she received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. She has always been passionate about animals which has led her to keep parrots, snakes, lizards, fish, and everything in between.

In her free time, she likes to make art and go hiking, but most of all she loves spending time with her critters at home and building them custom habitats.
