Sophie was born in Tucson, Arizona, where she grew up in a household full of animals. After the passing of her skinny pig, Gilbert, she was touched by the staff’s kindness and left with a desire to help owners and their pets alike. After graduating from high school, she began her studies at the University of Arizona, where she now majors in Veterinary Science and minors in Biochemistry. Once she graduates with her Bachelor’s degree, Sophie aims to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree to work with exotic animals and wildlife.

In her free time, Sophie enjoys hiking, crocheting, and painting, while additionally spending time with her many cats.
