Searra was born in Arizona and spent most of her life in California before moving to Michigan and completing her certificate in Veterinary Assisting. After which she gained 10 years' experience in the animal medicine field. It was her start at a non-profit rescue in Detroit that ignited her passion for rescue work and many of those years were spent educating the public on population and disease control. After returning to Arizona 5 years ago, she has now started her journey in exotics and aspires to have her own exotic rescue.
