Dr. Lewis hails from Indianapolis, IN but has also lived, studied, and worked in TN, NJ, and NY. After graduating from Purdue University, she attended the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She has completed multiple internships, and a residency in exotic companion mammals, always caring for a wide variety of species including birds, mammals, and herptiles. She joined the AZEAH team in the summer of 2023. Her passion lies with medicine & surgery of rabbits, rodents, wildlife, and other “weird exotics”, as well as teaching and client education.

Dr. Lewis has personal experience caring for rabbits, rats, and bearded dragons. In her free time, she loves exploring the greater Phoenix area either by bike or car, keeping active with CrossFit, trying new restaurants, breweries/wineries, as well as experiencing all of what nature has to offer!
