Dr. Brandy Kragness grew up in Minnesota and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Minnesota. She went on to complete a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kragness then traveled to Canada for 2 years where she completed a zoological, exotic and wildlife internship at the University of Saskatchewan followed by a third internship at the Ontario Veterinary College in avian & exotic animal medicine and surgery.  Prior to joining the Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital team, Dr. Kragness spent time working at a referral hospital in Massachusetts followed by another hospital in Southern California. Dr. Kragness has a passion for exotic animals and her special interests include anesthesia, pain management and critical care of all exotic species.
