Danya is from a small town in Sonora, Mexico but was raised in Tucson, Arizona. From a young age, she knew she wanted a career that involved helping animals. Danya attended Pima Community College graduating with an associates degree and is working toward transferring to the University of Arizona.                                                                               

In her free time she enjoys going on walks with her three dogs and rabbit, caring for her chickens, and finding wild treats for Bucky, her pet goat. She also enjoys growing her own fruits and vegetables and plans to own her own ranch where she can apply learned skills. Danya is excited to continue her growth in veterinary medicine.
