Ava

Born and raised here in Tucson, Ava has loved animals for as long as she can remember from rescuing house geckos from the cruel outside world to taking home any stray animal. Her natural curiosity and deep respect for all creatures led her into the veterinary field, where she’s been working for the past nine years. Ava is currently in her final semester at Pima Community College, studying to become a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), and is excited to continue growing her skills in veterinary medicine, especially with exotic animals. At home, Ava cares for a diverse bunch of companions, including birds, reptiles, dogs, and cats, which fuels her passion for learning and connecting with all species. She thrives on discovering new things every day and brings that enthusiasm into her work with clients and patients alike.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading, writing, gaming, and spending quality time with her family and her beloved pets. She looks forward to continuing her journey in the veterinary world and making a meaningful difference in the lives of both animals and their people.
