Amanda, BS, CVT
Amanda, CVT started her career in veterinary medicine as a kennel technician at the age of 17. After high school she attended the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, where she received a B.S. in Environmental and Forest Biology with a concentration in Wildlife Conservation. After graduation, she lived in Germany for 3 years before moving to Sierra Vista, AZ where she started working as a veterinary technician. In 2009, she became a Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Arizona. Over the years she has worked in a variety of different types of practices to include Small Animal, Urgent and Critical Care, Emergency, Shelter, and Exotic Animal practices as well as working as a Dog Trainer for a short period of time. Her special interests include but are not limited to Anesthesia and Animal Behavior. In her free time she likes to spend time with her 2 rescue dogs and read.
