Ferret Distemper Vaccinations Now Available in Phoenix Area!

After almost a year of the Merial ferret distemper vaccination being on backorder we have decided to start using the Nobivac distemper vaccination. This is a canine distemper vaccination that has been studied in ferrets (and shown to provide immunity) and is being safely used in other countries and by a few other vets in the US now. No increase in side effects are being  reported over what is normal for ferrets. In addition, we pre-treat all ferrets with Benadryl prior to vaccination to lessen the chance of side effects.
