Dr. Erica Giles, DVM

Dr. Erica Giles grew up in Ohio where she developed a love for animals, especially the scaled, feathered and otherwise non-traditional ones. She graduated from Ohio State University in 2012, and afterward moved to Connecticut where she trained with an avian specialist and gained experience with small animal and exotic pet medicine and surgery. From Connecticut she spent time in Ohio and Pennsylvania, in practices where she expanded her medical and surgical knowledge in a more dog/cat focused environment. She realized through those experiences that exotic pets are where her passion lies. She is excited to be joining the Arizona Exotics team. Along with clinical practice she enjoys wildlife medicine and shelter medicine. Outside of the profession she enjoys hiking, gardening and food! Her pet family includes her dogs (Max a husky mix, Blueberry a pitbull), her cats (Wobert, Penny and Elsie), her birds (Deakers- yellow nape amazon, Oscar an African Grey, Cricket a Red Bellied parrot ) Fred a leopard gecko, and Gary a Box Turtle. She looks forward to meeting you and your furry, feathered or scaled family members!
